Students and teachers will become immersed in the creative process as they integrate the study of theater with their Language Arts and Social Studies curriculum. Over the course of 16 days, students will research folk literature from Egypt, Greece and Rome, write a short play or theater montage, develop acting and self-presentation skills, build simple sets, props and costumes, and create and rehearse a production which will culminate in a performance for the Thornton Burgess School community, family and friends.
